Dear Madam/Sir,
Next academic year I will be involved in the following courses:
MECN342 - Manufacturing Technology (for Industrial Engineers)
MECN356 - Production Technology (for Mechanical Engineers)
MECN448 - Manufacturing Technology Topics (for Mechanical Engineers)
MECN319 - Mechanical Engineering Design II
CAD/CAM - Design and Programming Activities
The want to come with a new approach for above mentioned courses. The challenge is great but the same is the field to be approached. I want to create flexible, up-to-date and much more attractive courses for the students in the third and fourth years of studies. Apart of the written courses, I want lectures to be presented using a computer with many images, movies or demos. Do you have any suggestions for the presentation program (apart from Power Point)?
The syllabus starts with design, materials, machine processes, tools, non-conventional machining processes, engineering plastics, metrology, composite materials and finishes with computer integration
manufacturing, flexible manufacturing systems, robots and automation.
I wander if you can help me with same material (CD_ROM, Images, Information, Movies, Books) to fulfill my
desire. I do consider this action a good opportunity for our students to know some of international companies and their products.
Thank you very much!
Best Regard
John
