The most frustrating and discouraging aspect of a writer's life is getting his work published.
It is strange that the a writer has in mind a select readership to whom his work is intended.Only a reader can decide whether the
work is good or bad.
Unfortunately it is not the reader who decides what he wants
but the publisher who decides what he should read!
As long as a work does not appeal to a
publisher you have no chance. One should know that
the interest of the publisher and reader are very different. One is after business and the other is after literary gains.
The only way out of this situation is to get your work
published by yourself!.
Don't think it is very difficult either. You can see a thousand copies of your book printed in good quality
is around USD 2000.00
Once you do that contact the marketing agents and
distributors on the net. They charge 40% of the retail
but once you have the book in print it is
easy to make money.
This is where you should use the economics which are more favourable in third world countries.
An international quality book can be got produced with very good art work
for a 1000 dollars.You need another 1000
dollars so that the company in india can
attend to all this.
